And then why do we appear to be hearing two different, for this distance from transit centers? podcast-host
Are we hearing two different definitions from different documents? podcast-host
Thank you, Mayor. podcast-host
I was reading your mind for sure. podcast-host
Yeah, thank you so much for explaining that clearly that it's two different legal documents because I know that residents were very podcast-host
concerned about that and it needed I think a clear explanation um with that I'm willing to make a motion um podcast-host
and people can second or tell me they totally disagree. podcast-host
And I'll say along with the motion, you know, I would like to track this for parking because although I think legally we have to approve this, but I don't know whether it is actually a transit-oriented development. podcast-host
I think these kinds of developments may cause some kind of parking problems. podcast-host
So I would just like to keep track of it. podcast-host
There's not much we can do because it is state law and there is a housing crisis. podcast-host
But, you know, as a council, I would like to kind of see what's going on with parking around these developments. podcast-host
And on a... podcast-host
on a happier note, I should say. podcast-host
I think for these developments, one of the big things you see is the cladding, the siding, that's what you see as you walk down the street, and I was super happy to see that residents had asked to change stone to brick, because I think that's much more appropriate for sort of a transitional architectural development like this, and I hope that's something we do in the future. podcast-host
Thank you. podcast-host
If you insist. podcast-host
So it would be that the City Council one, adopt a resolution of the City Council of the City of Mountain View conditionally approving a development review permit to construct a four-story, 47-unit residential condo development utilizing state density bonus law and a heritage tree removal permit to remove eight heritage trees on a 1.01 acre site located at 266 through 272 Tirella Avenue. podcast-host
APN is 16032006 and 16032007, and finding that the project is exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act, also known as CEQA, pursuant to section 15332, infill development of the CEQA guidelines to be read in title only, further reading waived, podcast-host
which is attachment one to the council report. podcast-host
