They then also made statements as well, written statements to police.
So Rosemary Walsh has talked them through that.
So she's just talked them through those aspects of their evidence.
When she was concluded with them, then they are cross-examined by two barristers.
So CiarΓ‘n Vaughan, case C,
who is, again, you know, people can look him up.
He's been involved in numerous high-profile cases.
He's representing Geoffrey Donaldson.
And in Turkingdon case, he is representing Eleanor Donaldson.
So what happens is the witnesses are taught through their evidence by the prosecution, and then the defence cross-examines them.

There's a lot of Bible talk and talk of forgiveness and how he's asking her for forgiveness and how he has asked God for forgiveness.
This was presented by the prosecution on one of the day's evidence, and the witness said she believed that that was an apology for the allegations that she had made against him.
But then when it came to the next day's evidence and cross-examination, the defense said that this was nothing to do with any alleged abuse.
And this was, in fact, instead because Geoffrey Donaldson had been, I think that's the phrase, were being thrown out of custody.
thrown out of the house, thrown out of the family home because of Eleanor Donaldson believed that he was having an affair with a constituent and that this letter was in relation to that and not in relation to the abuse.
So the letter has been presented, but both sides claim the letter is in relation to something else.
