And if he feels it's that important to him, he might even feel that he needs to break with the Americans.
But it is very significant.
And it's part of the long running pattern of even the American right, who are traditionally so close to the Israelis,
just starting to move away from them.
But I've not seen, and I've lived in Israel for many years, I've not seen a kind of an open rift quite like we've seen over the last 48 hours or so.
Yeah, I think very much it could be, and perhaps already is.
I wouldn't have thought that anything would happen imminently for two reasons.
One, because I think Trump still needs to be engaged on the Iran issue.
It is not a silent and field document yet.
There is
unfinished work there.
And secondly, because I think the American strategy has been, and this is assuming it will continue to be, kind of one of strangulation, suffocating the Cuban economy slowly, blockades, sanctions, bringing the country very much to its knees.
It's a strategy that's been led by the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.
And I don't think military force will be a first resort.
It's my instinct.
But it is, you know, every American president since the revolution in 1959 in Cuba has tried to bring about regime change.
Every single American president has failed.
That's attractive to Donald Trump.
He likes to try and achieve things that nobody else has done.
And I think that is one of the major driving forces behind what he's trying to do with Cuba.
