Several people in the know told me that.
And of course, that Conan was cast.
And then the next thing was, right, we need to cast his dad.
So I'm only in it thanks to him.
It's the only reason I'm in it.
And then I remember going, they called me in and said, would you come and meet Ben, the director, exec producer, and JJ, our producer, and come and have a chat about this show.
And I had read the first script.
My agent just said, it's really good.
And I read and thought, oh, it's really good.
So going in to chat about it was really, really easy.
And they were so lovely and so...
almost overly lovely.
And I thought, this is kind of odd.
Because they're being so kind of engaged and really like, how do you like it?
They were really worried.
And now I see perfectly why, because they just knew that it had to be you.
