So I just, I spend my life happily just sort of hiding behind his coattails.

Well, we went away for six months to a small island and studied each other.

People used to, I mean, the internet in all its glory and misery was sort of obsessed with the fact that they were going, are you sure you two aren't related?

Well, and I would say, well, we are out of choice.

But no, we're not blood related.

yeah okay I love the internet my brothers often say it as well they're always saying that we look alike and it's and I've got I've got three sons and when we you know we first met each other I just sort of thought it was an effortless kind of leap to have sort of a fourth son but what's so lovely yeah it's morphed into something more than that but at the beginning it was it was sort of it had that lovely element to it and yeah and I'm well my pride is bursting

You're bonded by something as well because obviously, you know, your show was such a, has been for a long time, such a huge success and will go on.

And by the way, my lovely son, Cal, his girlfriend is from Wales and they, she is, her entire family is consumed with jealousy that I'm sitting here talking to you both.

I mean, consumed.

And in fact, Cal had never seen Gavin and Stacey before Christmas and he spent 10 days with his basic in-laws

surrounded by the aunties.

And he was sat down and said, if you're going to be Welsh, which you basically are going to be and sort of are, you thank you, you have to watch Gavin and Stacey.
