Now, on a positive note, when it comes to savings, if you have extra cash, make sure you're putting it in a high-yield savings account.
Those can be very attractive right now, especially if the Fed is going to be on this rate hiking cycle.
That's a way to grow your money without just keeping
Keeping it in your regular bank and not earning any interest on that.

Well, the projections say the majority of Fed officials anticipate one more rate hike by the end of the year.
Now, beyond that October meeting, there's also a meeting in December.
So they could stay on holes for before the midterms, and then after the midterms are done, they could raise rates in December.
But it does seem like the appetite within the Fed
They've acknowledged that you need to raise interest rates in order to get back to target because we are just so beyond target right now and we're not gonna hit two percent till twenty twenty nine, I believe the projection is.
So we still have a long, long way to go.
