When I was doing Bad Education with...
Jackman.
Oh, Lord.
I was playing a real character and I had reams and reams of research.
that's when that kind of stuff helps me knowing.
And yeah, so I looked through all that stuff and it was just fun to know it.
But to do that kind of work for a character that's made up is, it's almost too overwhelming for me.
So I started in a more simpler way of working.
Right.
Well, I'm lucky that I didn't get typecast as something.
And I think about my history in the theater.
When you grow up in the theater, you're always doing different kinds of roles, different styles of roles and different plays from Noel Coward to Arthur Miller to, you know, a Fado Farris or something.
And they're always completely different characters because you're an actor.
Yeah.
And then when you get into Hollywood television or movies and they see you as one thing, you know, that can be obviously limiting and frustrating.
And I think that because I had done so many, you know, a thing like Drop Dead Gorgeous, that movie.
And so a lot of people, not everyone, but it was sort of an underground cult hit movie.
And then I do CJ.
