And the Kitty opened Snapchats on the 18th of January 2021, which is five months after her death.
Now, Kitty clearly wasn't doing any of this.
This was Cresswell with her phone.
And the fact is the police didn't find the phone until Cresswell's arrest, which didn't come until the 2nd of March 2021.
And he had hidden it under a fence in a field that they owned.
So Rebecca, her sister, did not become aware that the police didn't have her phone during that period.
The family were not being updated regularly.
There was no lines of communication established by police.
And these key pieces of evidence did not become apparent until after Cresswell's arrest.
Well, part of the review they had asked that it be looked at to see if there was any links between members of the PSNI and Cresswell.
And so was this purposely or was this unconscious bias or purpose bias in terms of trying to protect him?
And there were no direct links found between that.
But there was clearly some unconscious bias going on here.
They accepted his version of events and his narrative.
And, you know, as an abuser, he was clearly very manipulative and convincing.
But police are meant to be trained to see through things like that.
And even the most basic things, you know, another concern was the fact that Kitty was bleeding because she'd been raped.
And during catheterisation, and I noticed this and pointed this out,
And she requested an evidence bag from a female police officer to retain Katie's underwear as a result of this.
But the trust noticed that this never went any further.
