You know, the point is every democracy faces its challenges, right?
We say that when these things happen, they're really not indictments of failure.
They are indications of a democracy that is still finding its footing.
I think we really forget the history that this country has walked.
This country was destroyed by an 11-year civil conflict.
Since the war came to an end, it is really commendable that this country has held five democratic elections, two of which have actually led to the peaceful transfer of power to the opposition.
It's a country that is not exposed to religious fundamentalism or terrorism financing.
