I think Senator Gallego has said something to this effect, to his great credit.
I just simply don't get why more Democrats aren't coming out and saying this kind of thing.

And I will say there's one exception, which is their stock price.
If their stock price goes down, then all hell breaks loose because all these guys have their pay pegged to the stock price of the company they work for.
Here's the other thing these companies do.
Netflix on the left and people like Ellison on the right.
But they do plenty of cross-pollination.
They just give loads and loads and loads of money to politicians.
And so this is why, unless I'm wrong, I think Gavin Newsom has been real quiet about this merger.
This is why I think a lot of the people running for governor in California have been real quiet about this merger.
Ro Khanna is a great exception to this.
But I and he's not running for governor.
I think he might be running for other things.
But that's another way that they shield themselves.
But again, I do think a promise to break these guys up throws a huge wrench into this whole thing.
And there's any number of ways to do it.
