Because the moment I'm in office,

Apparently, I'm in charge now of the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, or we can pass in Congress a law that says any corrupt merger will be undone on day one of this new administration.

I think Senator Gallego has said something to this effect to his great credit.

I just simply don't get why more Democrats aren't coming out and saying this kind of thing.

We're going to 50 50 chance it goes away.

You just spent billions of dollars for nothing.

No, no, no.

Here's the other thing that adds to this image of their invincibility.

And I will say there's one exception, which is their stock price.

If their stock price goes down, then all hell breaks loose because all these guys have their pay pegged to the stock price of the company they work for.

Here's the other thing these companies do.

Netflix on the left and people like Ellison on the right.

but they do plenty of cross pollination.

They just give loads and loads and loads of money to politicians.

And so this is why, unless I'm wrong, I think Gavin Newsom has been real quiet about this merger.

This is why I think a lot of the people running for governor in California had been real quiet about this merger.

Ro Khanna is a great exception to this, but I, and he's not running for governor, but I think he might be running for other things.

But yeah,

That's another way that they shield themselves.

But again, I do think a promise to break these guys up throws a huge wrench into this whole thing.
