Amanda Aguilar

Amanda Aguilar is a staff attorney at American Gateways in San Antonio.

She represents multiple families detained at Dilley and said her clients claim the water there is foul.

Aguilar said her clients were forced to pay $3 for a bottle of water or less than $40 for a case.

ICE Director Todd Lyons stated in a recent news release that families in Dilley receive essential daily living needs.

Federal contractor CoreCivic operates Dilley.

Their website states that the facility gets the same clean drinking water supplied to the town.
