Uh it was their third meeting and first on grass.

And it was Ayala who got the upset, got that very close first set, and then kind of ran away with it.

Yeah, the tactics today were very strong from Ayala.

I also thought

You know, her mental game, I was very impressed.

Uh, just you know, 'cause she was serving for that first set, had a set point, and then it goes to that very tumultuous tie break.

But

Even if she had lost the tie break, I feel like she could have still won the match.

Whereas

when Iala won the tie break and you know, ego was going into that second set having lost, I was like, I feel like this isn't

gonna go much longer and I was right and I just think that ego

kind of let the disappointment from the tie break affect her too much in the second set.

I mean she got broken

Immediately to love.

I just think the mental game was a huge part of this.

But yeah, it was a great win for Ayala.
