I'm actually curious to see what you would think, because she talks about religion and her upbringing in religion and her relationship to it today, and how she has respect for people who are religious, as long as it's not being weaponized against other people.
However you decide to make sense of the universe,
is up to you as long as it doesn't cause you to harm anybody.
And I thought that that was very sweet.
I thought that was a very important sentiment.
And I think I agree with her.
in the sense that like I'm also very close friends with deeply, deeply religious people and they do not hurt other people based upon their beliefs and so that's great.
On the other hand, faith in something that is not real is like a condition of the mind that like,
conditions you to think a certain way and to have a certain kind of magical thinking.
And then if you go down that rabbit hole, it's like, well, how many things do I have faith in that I don't fully comprehend?
And then so, you know, I don't know if there's a way to win that.
