Well the reason that Wright is suggesting that Morrison is giving evidence that is tailoring evidence that's favourable to Jones is that the two, according to the text messages, had a long and very friendly relationship.
And they read out several texts between the two of them, including
texts that were derogatory about the Sydney Morning Herald and its reporter Kate McClymont, and also about negative when there were negative stories about Jones in the media, Morrison would
text him and be empathetic about it.
And so that is why the prosecution wanted to cross examine him about his bias and his relationship
to Alan Jones.

The judge actually repeated that line and said, you know, it's clear that these text messages show that he clearly does refer to the SMH and McClymont as pigs.

Police have said that strike force Bonifan was set up as a result of McClymont's reporting and that after her report in twenty twenty three, alleged victims started coming forward.
The pigs in the media text was just one of
five hundred pages of texts that were tendered to the court.
Obviously we haven't seen all of them, but they go really way back more than a decade.
