Um, I actually I I think I actually typed up a script for my very first one, even though I didn't read it word for word.

It was just nice to kind of practice who I am, you know, what my private practice does.

Um, because the more you say it out loud, the more you talk about it, the easier it gets.

And it's just more like second nature after a while.

Because when you first start, you're not even used to saying, you know, that you're a private practice owner and you know, it's it's so new.

So don't be afraid to kind of script it out, practice, talk about it to like your spouse or your friends or family and just kind of practice saying it because then it won't seem so scary when you're on the phone call with them.

So get past that fear because you're gonna have some awesome, you know, interactions with people.

Yep.

And I would say the other thing for a really simple marketing thing is just having a simple business card.

I think I underestimated the effectiveness or the practicality of having them, even if you just get some cheap ones, you know, in a bulk pack or a hundred to st or fifty to start out with, because

I carried them in my purse and I carried it in my bags.

I had them in my car.

I always had some on me because one of my favorite ones was I was picking out my contacts and like, oh, like we see you're self-employed now.

I said, Yeah, you know, I own my own private practice and I did my little quick little feel.

You kind of vary it depending on who you're talking to.

Um, and she's like, Oh my gosh, my my granddaughter has blah blah blah issues.

And she's like, Do you have a car?

I'm like, why yes, I do, you know, and here it is.

I mean, even my own kids' pediatrician was like, oh yeah, my son, you know, has issues with this.
