You know, they're going to the nurse to take the medication.
or whatever.
But also, there's sort of this, what am I like when I take medication?
I may not remember that.
From a kid's perspective, I may not remember what that feels like, or there may be side effects that I don't recall.
Hopefully, if your child's on a good medication regimen, then there aren't side effects that affect anything in school.
But there is sort of this place where you start thinking about, am I going to
Be a different person.
Am I going to think differently?
Is this going to help?
Is this, you know, all of these kinds of things.
And one way that I think that parents can make that a little bit easier is to cut short the medication vacation.
So before you're going back to school that couple of weeks before, make sure that that's a time when you're, you know, working with your doctor to get your child back into the medication routine to make sure that everything's working smoothly.
Sure.
