You know, I say all the time that if you don't have something bigger than yourself to hold you into something, you'll sway always. And so for me, my because is because of my best friend. And I say this in a, you know, non-religious kind of way, but genuinely in a best friend kind of way. Jesus is my best friend. And we talk often and we share time together.

Somewhere along my crazy little life, when I was young, I just latched on to grit to persevere. Young in my life, I, my dad was hit by a drunk driver and killed. And so very young, I learned that there isn't an option of quitting.

You know, that when pain and tragedy strikes, yeah, you're going to go through a lot. But you're going to keep going. Another day is going to come and you have the option to make it what you want it to be. And, you know, my grandmother, when I was little, who I was really close to, used to tell me, nobody has time for a pity party.
