It is silly.
But let me explain the significance of that, right?
So it's not even until June, Ascot, so it's ages away.
It's literally an open carriage.
They're obviously friction maxing, the royal family like that.
They're going back in time.
Anyway.
The reason why it's significant is, so Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who are now like properly grown up, 37 and 35.
I was like, wow.
I know.
That makes me feel old.
But they're probably grown up.
They're not working royals.
So they're not on the payroll, right?
But they occupy this unique space where they're kind of middling royals because they've still got their titles.
They're still HRHs.
Beatrice is still officially what's called a counsellor of state because of her position on the succession ladder, at least at the moment.
So she can step up and sign things for the king, fill in for him.
No, she's too young.
Step in if needed, right?
