No one envisioned 1200, 2,000 trained fighters from Hamas.
So no matter, even had MBZ warned Netanyahu that something monstrous was about to happen.
And if the Egyptians had warned him before, it wouldn't change a thing as long as you prepare for a terrorist attack and not a military invasion.
This is for the significance of the report.
Now, as for the reliability, I have to say that I highly doubt this report.
And I would like to explain.
First of all, there are many, many mistakes in the report in Haretz.
There were many, many uh details that were reflected.
Feuded quite rapidly after the report.
I'll give you an example.
Anthony Blinken, which is not a member of Netanyahu's fan club, to say the least, has just published a tweet on X saying that the report about him was false.
And the report said that on October 9th, there was an offer by Hamas.
Allegedly, they found a generous Hamas that offered to release the Bebas family, all the elderly hostages.
In return for nominating a mediator for free, all of a sudden Hamas was willing to release
mad no, I mean that all of a sudden there is a moderate Hamas.
So I beg to differ.
Anthony Blinken begged to differ, and President Herzog, also not a member of Netanyahu's Fan Club, denied that MBZ talked to him too about the situation in Hamas generally and specifically about an imminent attack.
