We just weren't that type of family.

I did everything my... We had a trainer.

I did it through a running group at Texas A&M, and we had a... Like, I was...

I even did water jogging leading up to the race.

I wasn't even running on the pavement because of my knee.

But then come race day, I'm like ready to go.

And I wasn't.

And then because of that, I overcompensated on my left leg and then my left foot was really hurt.

So I was a mess.

Like it was horrible.

I regret doing that.

I wish if I could go back and not have done that race, which I remember my friend that asked me to do that.
