And that's when I went back and started making music.
It was not to make a record.
It was to lean into things that had sustained me in the past.
And yeah, and I thought, well, I've got what I've got.
I woke up how I am right now and I know it's different and that's okay.
It's just
You know, and, and I think that, that was the big shift for me.
That was my Adderall was kind of just waking up one day and going, Hey, I'm alive.
And I, and, and honestly, some things that I used to feel very anxious about, I'm not sure what they were, but there was kind of a base level of anxiety in my life because I just, a lot was expected of me work wise, a lot of things.
And, uh,
And I had kids at home.
And anyway, and all that was kind of gone.
So that's sort of dangerous if you're used to responding to pressure.
But it was just like, hey, everybody.
Everybody's just trying to navigate their life.
I felt such a connection to people in recovery, anybody who was responding to a life that was full of decisions that were not their choosing.
And I just thought, well, we all need each other.
