Speaking of fame, did you have an era where you just really wanted to be famous?
No.
So it just was it was put on to you because of the success of the music.
It was never something you want.
You didn't want the fame part of it.
I didn't think about it.
It just came.
You know, I was always a hard worker.
And I mean, I was spring break of my senior year in high school, a record came out and I'd worked on it for, you know, my junior and senior year.
Your record came out.
My first record.
But of course, I told no one because if it were a flop, I didn't want anybody feeling sorry for me and everything.
you know, when it was time for everybody to sign their yearbooks, people would bring in a record, but it just felt like, God, what an amazing thing to get to do with this hobby that I love so much.
Did your classmates know you were singing?
Uh-huh.
I sang at school.

Do they know you were like singing though?
Like trying to be a singer?
I wasn't trying.
