Well, see, I was born Thanksgiving weekend of 1960.

And so Baby Baby, that happened in 91.

So I was 31.

So you had been doing it a while then.

I had been a hard worker for a long time.

I remember going into the donut den right next to Hillsborough High School.

And I guess Baby Baby was on the radio.

I'm still shopping at the same place, getting my groceries, going in for an apple fritter, my very favorite.

And some girls were coming out when I was going in, maybe three of them, and they just screamed right in my face.

And I guess maybe I had a video on.

MTV.

And I remember just thinking, hi.

And I went in and ordered my apple fritter thinking, well, that was weird.

But because I grew up in Nashville and just generations of friends, you know, it's like everything was buffered by community.
