I haven't listened to it in this form in a long time.

Carole King's a great songwriter.

I fell in love with her when I was a kid.

And my sixth grade boyfriend, Johnny Dicker, we would get on the phone and we would press the needle of our turntable down so that the records were spinning at the exact same time.

And, you know, I love that she had kind of an average voice because I was a kid with an average voice that loved music.

And I loved songs.

And I thought, I can find a way to make a life doing something.

I didn't know what, but somehow involved with music.
