All right, so Canadians have turned their attention to improving the team defense.
And so how do we want to talk about that today?
Why was this the theme that we were going to focus on?
Well, when we talk about defense in hockey, a lot of people immediately think about defensemen, the blue liners.
But defense isn't really owned by that singular position.
It's kind of a chain.
It's a chain of events across the entirety of the ice, from the forwards all the way back to the goaltenders and actually some coaching as well.
If any of those links in the chain breaks...
the weaknesses in the other areas of the chain get really exposed.
And so we've seen that happen a little bit with the Canadians recently.
And today we're going to look at how the Canadians' defense is starting to change from three different angles.
You know, the defense through goaltending.
We're going to look a little bit at Jakob Dobisch.
The defense through the actual blue line.
