So the Canadiens' goaltending picture really took another interesting turn this week.
And quite honestly, it's setting up what should be a really telling back-to-back series at the Bell Centre this weekend.
You've got Jakob Dobisch, who's coming off...
frankly, a brilliant stretch of play.
He's expected to get the start on Saturday night against the San Jose Sharks.
Then on Sunday, as we mentioned in the last segment, all signs point to probably Jacob Fowler getting his start in the crease against the Anaheim Ducks.
Now, Fowler's presence at this point in time and at this crossroads for the Canadians isn't an accident.
As we said, this is his second recall of the season from Laval.
He had in a remarkable run in the AHL.
He's won 10 of his last 11 starts down there.
Then he arrives in Montreal, immediately makes an impression.
I mean, it's not just Montreal and it's not just Montreal media talking about it.
It's the national media are talking about what a stellar performance he had.
He was the first star on Wednesday night in Ottawa.
And yeah, it was a performance that just had everybody talking about Jacob Fowler.
