And that you work through those issues because it will impact your parenting around sexuality.
It'll either make you hyper-vigilant, it can just some of the things that I know that can happen, hypervigilance, which is not good for anyone, complete denial that the child themselves is becoming a sexually a sexual person, which is not a good way to parent.
So, I mean, there's so much, you know, especially for women.
I believe the stat is that one in four women have been sexually assaulted in some way.
So for most women, like we carry this burden usually of guilt and shame.
And you know, 90% of the 99% of the time, it has nothing to do with us per se.
It's about the perpetrator.
So letting go some of that, and you know, honestly, you know who you are, you know if you need help, you know, knowing that stat, that one in four women, that's everybody.
Everybody, right?
Everybody.
And so being willing to take care of yourself, to take care of
Your children, I think, is really hugely important.
And not to dismiss men.
Of course, men are sexually abused and experience sexual traumas as well.
They also need to be taking care of that part of themselves.
So sometimes this can be a really like a sloggy, harder feeling process.
But at the end of the day, our kids need us to be healthy and whole.
So if that means, you know, hooking up with a little therapy to march through some crap so that you come out the other end being
a better parent, you know, I'm all for it.
So that's one of the ways uh that one of the things that can happen.
