If you're a person like I am, I believe that people should have sex when they are socially, emotionally, physically ready.
Whatever that looks like, late twenties is is what I'm thinking is like ideal.
I'm just kidding.
Just stun silence here.
I was like, Okay.
I make that joke because really I don't want to think about my kid having sex, right?
I have a sixteen year old.
Like I w what we want them is to feel like I said, like really pretty damn confident that they're ready to make that step instead of falling into it or getting it over with, right?
Like many of us did.
Fingers pointing back at me.
Um, right.
So I think that really there's work that needs to be done on the parent side.
And the more you know, the more confident you'll feel, the more comfortable you'll feel.
And you'll s and I I believe that let me just tell you this.
I I have always have so much to say.
So when I started Birds and Bees and Kids, remember my kid was four.
And I had spent my life doing pregnancy and abortion counseling, STD counseling, like working with like, you know, teenagers through people in their 60s, right?
And so I had seen and heard and dealt with lots of really kind of traumatic stuff in some ways and other ways not, right?
And so, you know, I come into this conversation with my four-year-old.
I'm completely at sea.
