The other thing I do with Milo is I will say like we were in the car one time and we're listening to the radio and it was NPR and they were talking about female circumcision and one of his best friends was in the car with us and I was pretty damn certain that Milo did not know what female circumcision was.
And so I'm like, all right, no it's self.
So drop off his friend.
We're in the car and I said, hey, I gotta talk to you about a sex thing.
We can do it now or we can do it later.
And he said.
Later.
Yeah.
Like he always does, right?
But what I did what I do when I do that is I'm preparing him so he knows it's coming.
So he's slightly more receptive.
And so within a day or two, I always find a time to say, hey, okay, now it's later.
Sometimes it's on our walk to school in the morning.
In this circumstance, we'd gone for a bike ride and we're side to side on the bikes.
And I'm like, hey, remember I told you I talked to you about a sex thing?
And then I said we were listening, remember, we were listening to the thing.
I don't know if you heard this, but it was on NPR and they were talking about female circumcision.
