So Savvy Parents Safe Kids is a really good resource.
They have this thing called the Super Ten Rules for Safety that you can just download it, print it, toss it in the backseat of the car, have your kids read it and talk about what each rule means.
And the other thing too, just on this topic, is that strangers are not a threat to your children.
A person who's gonna molest or harass your child is someone you know or someone they know.
Uh huh.
Right.
Strangers, it doesn't happen.
It's just super rare.
Yeah.
So you can all give up the stupid stranger danger thing.
It really did kids and adults a disservice.
So
So and helping them practice being out and about in the world and you know, and really just again talking openly about sexuality, because when kids know that you're
open to talking about this, that's safer for them.
When they see that you're willing to be uncomfortable and and you don't freak out when you're talking about this or they ask a question, that's also makes things safer for them.
And some kids are hypersensitive.
They don't want to hear this.
It's very upsetting to them, just any of it.
