And most parents, most of us had really crappy examples of how to parent around sexuality when we were growing up.

So as I'm talking, if you're doing the old guilt and shame thing, don't bother.

You didn't you don't know.

what you don't know and in particular with differently wired kids they're actually more vulnerable so we'll talk about that in a little bit.

So the snarky short answer to the question is at birth.

The kinder, more like we can get this party started anytime answer is this.

Uh, you know, I know you're in the Netherlands, right?

And so one of the things that I did when I started my company was like, all right, I gotta figure out who's got it all going on.

Like who has the lowest teen pregnancy rate, who has the lowest, you know, teen STD and uh HIV rate, and that is where you are in the Netherlands.

They have in the world, they completely rocket when it comes to childhood.

Sexual health and adolescent sexual health.

So I'm like, all right, what's happening there that is not happening in the United States?

In the US, we're still number one.

in the developed world in terms of teen pregnancy and teen sexually transmitted infection rates.

So we suck at this.

And

So looking at the Netherlands and their model, their model is very early sex education, oftentimes starting in kindergarten.

And when I say sex education, I mean like penis goes in vagina.

Like they are straight up with kids from a really early age.
