Don't just say this is too hard or don't do this extra bit of research.

And until you start looking into the minutes and thinking about the types of questions to ask, you won't really know.

Or you might feel kind of nervous the first time you call the council.

Nope.

Just call them.

You ask to speak to the planning department.

They are really helpful.

I've never had an issue with council.

They're there to help you.

So my last tip is to do with quote ranges.
