We don't have storage built in within the house.
We don't have under house storage.
And so lots of things that other people might store in their shed, like tins of paint, have been in this spare room, which is obviously a lot more because we're renovating.
but lots of things have been in here that someone else might go, oh, that's great, put that in the shed like a chest of drawers.
They might use that in other spaces, but we just don't have that option.
So what we found is that there were some large items that were still really good condition, but we knew we didn't need any more.
We just didn't know what to do with them.
So one of the things was a big chest of drawers and two side tables that we'd been using in our master bedroom for about 12 years.
And then with the new configuration of our bedroom,
we actually decluttered heaps and realized we didn't need to keep as many towels, sheets, clothes.
And so we reduced that so much that we didn't have any need for this large chest of drawers and side tables.
And so we've been deciding what to do.
And I was so excited.
I found out just this week that our neighbor was looking for some extra storage.
So the boys got home one night after school and carried this big thing over to our neighbor's house.
And so that has gone.
Some other things that were in our room is items that we thought we might continue to use.
So we had one pedestal fan and we also had a portable air conditioner.
And both of those items, we hadn't used at all in the last 12 months because we bought some blabeless fans.
We found that those are really good for sleeping.
