I definitely have more open tabs in my brain than Cal says he has in his.
He says he might have like four or five tabs open whereas I feel like I have 40 or 50 tabs open.
That might be my ADHD.
That might just be my personality.
That might be the mental load that I carry for our family and my business.
There's so many different things that contribute to that.
But having to make lots and lots of decisions adds to your mental load.
Because every decision you make, you have to open the tab.
You have to think about it.
You have to make a decision.
And when you finish that and it's executed, you've got to close the tab.
Now, when I speak about tabs, if you haven't heard that concept, it's kind of like an item in your mind, like it's doing your mind or like a tab on a browser that is like, this is all the things my brain's focusing on.
So the tab you might have open is go send a work email.
I better return my mom's phone call.
It's dad's birthday in a few weeks.
Oh, my partner has a graduation.
And so I need to buy a dress for that.
I've got to return that mail.
Oh, was the Amazon package going to come today?
What salad am I going to bring to the party at my friend's the next week?
