So for you, that might look like you want to wear a different outfit to work each week, each day of the week.

So you might at the start of the week, like hang your outfits together.

So rather than having to find all the pieces, you're just pulling out the two or three coat hangers that have the things on that you're going to wear for that day.

That might be a way of you creating path of least resistance.

For me, a way that I do it is I hang everything, but it's all in category.

So if I know I want a dress, I know exactly where the dresses are.

If I know I want a pair of pants or a long sleeve top or a short sleeve top or a jumper or leggings, I know exactly where they are.

And so I'm not ever searching or hunting for an item of clothing because I hang as much as possible.

It's kind of like a clothing filing system.

And so I will just kind of flick through like this, like flick through, find what I need.

And that's a path of least resistance.

It also means that when the clean washing comes and it's time to put it away, I know exactly where it goes.

So I'm not having to make decisions, right?

So this, our brains are trying to avoid making complex decisions wherever possible.

And I don't know about you, but I've got enough in my world where my brain has to make decisions that what I wear, how I unpack the groceries, how I unpack the dishwasher, I don't want to use up my 20% of brain capacity and energy on that.

I've got that 20% can be put to better use.

And so it might be saying like, how do I simplify my wardrobe so I don't have to make decisions?

You just know where the stuff goes and you just do it.

It makes so much sense, right?

And when it comes to all the other stuff in our home, so the saying, a home for everything and everything in its home has been passed down from generation to generation to generation for a very good reason.
