We heard earlier in the show about mortgage deserts.
But how about pharmacy deserts?
According to a 2024 study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, nearly half of all counties in the U.S.
have at least one 10-mile area without a retail pharmacy.
And rural pharmacies are feeling that pressure.
