When most people say we're in a simulation, it's sort of like a nihilistic shrug, you know, it's kind of like a way to absolve herself of personal responsibility.
Um, and kind of bypass the human experience.
Uh, most people refer to the simulation as like
An alien at some day in the future is running us off their laptop in a basement.
That's not necessarily what you mean.
And so to set the framework for what you do mean, could you please do that?
There are innumerable analogies to be pulled from both the Eastern and Western perspective and the AI computational lens and the mystical traditions, which I'm sure we'll spend the rest of this podcast unpacking exactly that.

But
Those two, I guess, p positionings of MPC versus RPG are
different fundamentally on what the substrate of consciousness uh you know operates on, the universe being more information, not matter, um meaning it's computated and rendered.
Uh
What uh what do you mean when you view and you do view the universe as information?
That quantum indeterminacy would be an optimization technique.
That it would be actually like from an engineering perspective, the most efficient way.
to build a simulator or video game.
And this is what do you say this is is exactly what the Nobel Prize and
Local realism being proved false is pointing at.
That is a very fascinating takeaway.
