Um but I so in regards to what you just said, I feel like it's sort of a bone I have to pick with the Abrahamic faiths.
Not to, you know, not that there's immense beauty.
I I just appreciate the robustness of the Eightfold Path and the Eight Limbs of Yoga as a means to take something like the golden rule, where if you want to live a life of wisdom, one where you actually review it on your deathbed and
Um, you're not filled with regret for all the times you showed up in a way that you could have shown up better.
Um
Is that you take this concept of do unto others as you do unto yourself, you know, uh
as instead of an outside an instruction as a ontological redisposition, meaning you have through pratyahara, the withdrawal of the senses, you kind of get quiet within, you start to have
an expanded sense of awareness.
And that inherently allows you to experience somebody outside of you as an extension of yourself as opposed to the subject-object um difference where I I I need to treat you a certain way.
as opposed to you are part of me, and so it becomes inherent and the ethical, moral implications aren't needing to be taught in the same way.
They become self evident.
That's what I love so much about the Eastern traditions, and I'm sure what you've resonated as well as a contemplative practition practitioner is it becomes less of a theory and and a actual knowing.
Uh and
I uh I just find that
um super supportive to say the to say the least.
