I do wonder if there is a retrial, if he actually takes the stand.

Yeah, maybe not.

And I got the sense during my interviews over the course of the trial and before with his attorneys, I got the sense that they had their druthers

he probably would not have testified in the first trial.

And so you've got to wonder if they learned from that.
