It really only became, I suppose, obvious to us when it had gone to the brain.

Because your first kind of thought process when it goes to somebody's brain is, like for many people, I suppose you nearly display the symptoms of a stroke, really, you know.

And headaches.

Well, even just like your ability to walk is is hampered.

And, you know, you can't drive.

Right.

Yeah.

So that's that's really when I suppose it was really in the.

And in many respects, like, well, well, dad's entire like and.

you know, diagnostics and treatment and ultimately him passing away in 2018.

It happened in such a short period of time.

There was probably really, I would say, an eighth month period where things were very bad.

But it did.

It did progress.

It did progress very quickly.

distinctly remember being in Beaumont Hospital with him obviously I was living in Dublin at the time as well I distinctly remember the last time that he had his last operation in Beaumont Hospital and myself and my sister collected him that day from Beaumont and we were bringing him home and we were actually meant to be at our neighbours wedding that day as a family the four of us and unfortunately we couldn't make it because we were dad was getting out of hospital that day

And I remember his consultant came in and said to him, you know, like, this will be, this is your last operation now, you know.
