And yes, those numbers are real in that study.
They are compounded.
You know, money is one of the greatest issues, whether it's in the personal life or in the business life.
So whether it's you're not getting enough budget for your team or you don't have enough revenue to pay your employees, that one variable does it.
You know, one of the things that I've always appreciated when I did my training in positive psychology, one of the things that there's this exercise savoring a day and literally the scientific exercise was designed for a day and everybody in business was like, are you kidding me?
Who gets to take a day?
And we chunked it down.
Instead of waiting to the fact that you need a day, what would it look like if you were aware enough to take a break and leave for 25 or 30 minutes?
Take a few hours.
Do those things that rejuvenate you in the moment so you don't get to the point that you're being burnt out.
You know, I would say that that's idealistically what I would hope would be the attributes of great management.
And then I deal with the day-to-day realities that everyone is attempting to do their best in their own tasks.
that they aren't observing for others.
So I will always go back, observe for yourself, and then stand up for yourself and say, I need this, is almost easier.
You control that path versus waiting for your boss to observe.
By the time your boss is seeing the effects, you're already in a lot of trouble.
