I share everyone else's delight in the idea of IQ tests for chickadees.
My only hang up on that, and I was super interested in like, is it the movement?
Is it the dance?
Is it the song?
Is it the, you know, are you intelligent if you've gotten more food or something like that?
But I also am a little bit hung up just because I wonder about the evolutionary pressures or the way that we square size or kind of physical things.
um, you know, qualities that the female chickadees might be, might be evaluating.
So I'm a little on the fence about that.
I once was going to say, George, like you, that I tend to also try to psychoanalyze Steve.
And I was going to say for number one with the synthetic fabric that that it just seems so he's, he's got to be tricking us because it seems like this is something that should already exist.
That's something that's highly insulating.
but also heat releasing.
But then the more I thought about it, the more I was like, I think all of these like Gore-Tex and performance fabrics are very insulating, but I don't know much about fabrics that are heat releasing.
And I recently bought a bunch of UPF shirts, like shirts with like sun protection.
And there's a lot of talk about how there's like a flap in the back and there's vents for cooling.
And it's a temperature that wicks or it's a quality that wicks sweat away.
but it's not ever saying that the actual fabric pulls sweat away.
So at first I was convinced this absolutely exists and now I'm not so sure.
So I think after all that, I'm going to say that the synthetic fabric is fiction.
I was like, we all might have a lot of wishful thinking on this one.
