And then I progressed to high school.
I ended up being um a peer counselor in high school.
Go to college.
I took one psychology course and was sprung.
And that was kind of the it just started from there.
So I've always been in service.
Serving child victims and their families, I always call it it's it's hard work, if that makes any sense.
Um and it's just in my heart to make sure that those kiddos are able to have their stories heard and those families get the resources that they need.

I think I'm passionate about it because I know what it's like sometimes not to be heard and I wanna provide that space for other children so they can be heard.
It's a space where
You can talk about the most horrendous thing that's ever happened to you.
And that person is gonna hold that space with you without judgment.
And I think every child deserves that.
I think what geared me more towards public service is kind of just
Service is a part of who I am and it's a part of what I believe.
You know, if I'm not doing that.
I'm not sure what I would be doing 'cause I can't see myself doing anything else.
But when I think public service, providing a service to the people that I live next to and work with every day, I consider that an it's an honor and a privilege to give that back.
I've worked a lot of places and I can honestly say Prince Wim County is probably one of the best places that I've worked when you have leadership that believes in the people.
