And so I really struggled with finding support.

I I just met someone, I was on a I was sharp running a field trip for my daughter's class and was and happened to strike up a conversation with a woman.
And she casually mentioned that one of her other children is on the spectrum and and this happens to me like fairly often.
I don't know if it's an energy that we put out, but we if we happen to find each other.
And I mean, it happens to me probably like once a quarter.
And I I've I have found that the stigma is going down and that parents are more likely to talk to each other about it, I think even than they were just a few years ago.
Absolutely.
It was not easy in the beginning and I uh I I read somewhere too that parents of special needs children have a higher divorce rate and I'm not surprised at all.
I think that it has the ability to bring you closer or drive you apart and
I I went through a period where my son became my first priority and my marriage was not.
And I just thought to myself, you know what, this this again, this season that I'm going through and I will circle back in a minute.
But
I can't, you know, I I run a business, I have two children, and it was it was a lot to handle right then and there.
And so what has helped us tremendously is
Is uh I was diagnosed actually with severe anxiety disorder when I was twenty-six or twenty-seven.
And was put on medication for several years.
