So during the day...

you've got two weeks, two weeks rations, which is essentially your life expectancy.

So every day you're down here and then at night you have to go out and find something.

Well, you know, you've got preset targets, but then you go and find a ammo dump or a fuel dump or, or, you know, the British collaborators giving Germans directions and fuel or food.

So you go and assassinate them or, you know, a German officer or get into an airfield and blow up some planes.

And then you'd come back here and,

at night sleep during the day and then back again so because they had such a short amount of time to be effective because the Germans would have you know stuff's being blown up in a small area they're going to be searching they're going to find you so two weeks

So two weeks maximum you've got really to carry out your mission, which meant they'd have to go every single night.

So there's all, we've got paperwork that's saying, there's orders saying you can't have a night off once the Germans are there.

You have to be going out every night because you've got such a short window to be effective.

100%.

And that's the point about the...

about the escape tunnel.

Because essentially, if the Germans have found you here, if they found your hatch, you're screwed.
