Like I said, it was ugly.
But you're still watching a human being.
And to me, there's something going on.
off the golf course, is putting him in a bad place.
You don't behave like that unless there's other things going on that you're really struggling to deal with.
And it's not my place.
I have no idea.
It's not my place.
I'm not suggesting anything is, but that's the only explanation I've got for that type of situation.
behavior things things can't be all right outside of the golf course for him to be carrying on like that and if they are then it just makes that situation all the all the more pathetic and as i said to be there it was the lack of contrition after the right yeah i know i i saw part of it that part of it it burns both of us i i saw what you saw when uh when when jeff went out to go and have words with him that he didn't even have the decency to look him in the face
And even actually, at that stage, realised that he'd crossed the line and he needed to apologise.
Again, to me, again, there's something.
Yeah, absolutely doesn't happen in very many sports.
He's unbelievably humble, obviously an indication as to how terrifically he's been brought up.
He's a wonderful, not so young man now.
But yeah, he has the common decency.
One bit struck me during the broadcast yesterday, and it was last year when he finally claimed the green jacket.
Rose and him embrace.
he listens to every single word that justin rose tells him at that time yeah now you cast your mind back to all the other times when there's been cursory handshakes between competitors and somebody said something but you can clearly see in the victor's eyes he's thinking too much about getting off the green and getting into the red jacket whereas rory had the respect of rose and the decency to listen to every single word that
that Rose was telling him because he respected Rose and it meant so much to him at that time.
