It's like all of us, you know what I mean?
man these are some difficult questions you know what i mean i think look the number one thing you just can't get away from raw talent like you can't you can't um diy build a driver any driver into a championship driver i mean it's just not possible um
So skill set is the most important thing.
I think very close behind is attitude and that is an attitude of...
being self-critical and um and wanting to improve all the little areas that um that need tuning up you know what i mean and and that's definitely something that you know we work on a lot but then i see people like brock uh uh exceptional at is is is the grind um
and each driver is different in how they do that you know what i mean maybe maybe shane's way is driving lots on everything you know what i mean now whether that's sim racing or rallying or doing something others it's picking through every little bit of data and detail you know what i mean um others it's the way they prep but um yeah i think it's the attitude to always want to improve
I think that is a, you know, you've got to be careful that doesn't bring you down.
And that's something that's in our little kind of weekend spiel to each other is like, don't be, don't be self-critical.
Which you can't, you know, we all can be right.
But we have to be constructively critical.
Yeah, and then I think the kind of the third thing was which we've we've spoken on a lot is you need to be able to communicate what is going on with the car.
So you can be the best driver if you still can't communicate what's going on with the car to your engineer.
I don't think you're gonna have this success as someone that can so
So, I mean, I think if you've got those three things, you're probably in a pretty good state to win a championship personally.
