And I do think that that, you know, there's a an argument to be made that some of this stuff is so sort of sci-fi inflected that that when it comes to the midterms in particular, you know, Democrats are better off with, you know, focusing on some of the stuff that's hitting people. matched

I do think, though, that as we're looking ahead to 2028, this issue is going to be more and more and more and more salient. matched

Um, and whether Democrats are really able to slam the door on Republicans over some of this stuff, while also, by the way, hopefully rolling out a policy package that lets us keep some of the good things about AI, right? matched

I mean, it's not, it's not necessarily the case that like just slamming the door on this industry is a good thing for for the country. matched

And I think that but I do think that the position that Trump is staking out is so extreme. matched

It's so completely disconnected from where any real people actually are on this. matched

That he has given Democrats an enormous opportunity to carve out more and more space going forward. matched

Because this the superintelligent stuff, that's only gonna get more salient. matched

Like it's it's it's it's only the possibility. matched

possible future risk of this that has people so freaked out right now, there's a very plausible pathway to that becoming a realistic, like present tense problem for politicians to have to deal with before, you know, we're even nominating people in the primaries for 2028. matched

So it's it's only gonna get more fraud. matched
