So one, a couple of things about this.
One, this was going to be the case either way.

I mean, like like this is this is just a it's less a Trump phenomenon, although it is a Trump phenomenon than it is just kind of a political phenomenon right now.
Democrats and Republicans are both recognizing this.
how weirdly little reach the kind of old tentpole organizations have relative to what they had before.
And you saw this from Trump and Kamala Harris on the campaign trail.
going to a whole constellation of smaller programs that, you know, no individual one had the reach of, you know, going on Meet the Press or something like that, but which when you add them all together, they're all reaching totally different individual audiences who aren't watching Meet the Press.
And so the cumulative effect of hitting a bunch of different little shows and things like that ends up being bigger than if you just, you know, blanket the quote-unquote legacy media with coverage.
That said, there is one...
One interesting quirk of Trump himself that I will be interested to see how it shakes out with all of this, which is that he himself is a big consumer of the legacy media.
I mean, like his his longtime guys like Jacob into the Atlantic have written about this a lot where where it is sort of.
core to Trump's identity, dating back all through his real estate career, that he never really feels like he got the respect he deserved from kind of official New York, from official media, from the New York Times, you know, from the glitterati of New York polite society and things like that, which is why he has always had a real love-hate relationship with places like the New York Times and the networks and things like that.
