This is the time when Orbital played Glastonbury.

And I remember dragging a load of people from the magazine, come and see this band, come and see this band.

And it has been absolutely accredited as one of the greatest gigs of all time, even though all the machines went wrong.

It was still incredible.

40,000 people screaming, going berserk to this battering electronic music.

Left field are getting big.

Apex Twinned is huge.

Kemps.

Getting the early rumbling of the Chemical Brothers.

Yeah, all this kind of stuff.

And also, one thing that we did do that I'm very, very happy that we did, the cover-mounted tapes.

You mentioned the tapes.

It used to be you would go and do a deal with one label and they'd say, you can have five good bands and you've got to have seven shit ones that we're trying to push.

And we sort of tore that up and we did two different things.

We went to lots of labels and said, give us one band you want, we want, and you can have one band that you want subject to our approval.

So it meant it felt more like a proper mixtape.

So we did one that had, you know, it had Primal Scream on it and it had One Dove on it and all that kind of thing.

And it felt just much more like our real proper choice of music.
